I am finding it seriously difficult to write anything on my
blog. I just feel kind of stuck in a morass of indecision, half formed
sentences and ideas that refuse to coalesce.
My sense of humour remains hidden along with inspiration and
motivation.
This is serious.
I will be forced to take DRASTIC MEASURES to get my Mojo
back.
I fear I will have to sign up again to a month of NaBloMo to
get back into the swing of things.
I never expected it to be so hard
I mean I have just had a holiday of a lifetime with my
family in South Africa; there are loads of tales to tell and anecdotes to share.
Some are truly funny.
But just writing that makes them suddenly seem flat.
Humph.
Maybe its the rain and grey clouds or maybe I just need to
stop thinking and write.
How would you get your Mojo back?

I had one at the beginning of the year (a slump, that is) and I just had to wait it out. The writing prompt might help but I find when the muse has fled, there's nothing I can do.
Just write something - anything - to get back into the swing of it. You could even - ahem - cheat. As I just may have done once or twice this week...
"The the time is right, the prophet arrives." (Anon.)
If you want to push the river, you can. But it is not necessary. The river will flow without being pushed. So will your writing. Patience is a wonderful skill, and art. But keep a notebook handy for when inspiration nudges you.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
I know the feeling Tattie, I often struggle to blog and then suddenly the tales just flow...but you have a blog there already ;-)
Describe your day or some small details of it, you may think it's boring but it will actually get you going.
I second Irene . It will loosen the knots .
Think it may have run off with mine... don't worry, they'll come back soon (I hope)
I seriously had this a while back and had to take a week break. Then I have other weeks where I could write every day...Welcome back!
Slump? SO know that one... for heaven's sake, have just written about buying a rain gauge!! Have absolutely no inspiration at all at the moment..
