Errrmmm....
Not a lot....
Well, maybe that's a little bit of a lie; I have learnt that New Year Resolutions don't work that well for me. A friend of mine pointed out, quite correctly I may add though I will never thank him for it, that I hate being told that I cannot do something. That is not to say that I then go out and prove people wrong.
I don't.
I just don't like people saying it.
So how did I do over the year?
well I made one resolution...
And...
I didn't keep it.
So this year I make no promises at all instead as I go into the New year I will count my blessings and they are legion!
So here are my top ten for 2011...
I have my boys.
I have my husband.
I have my family and I have loads of friends (on and off-line!).
I am relatively fit and healthy
I am warm and well fed
I have my dogs (and they are legion so my husband says...)
I have my home
I have my wits (sort of!)
I have a past that has got me where I am and I am happy
And I have a future to look forward to!

Have you ever watched the series "LOST"? There's a character who, throughout, keeps saying "Don't tell me what I cannot do!!!" You just reminded me of him. 8-)
Lovely list,Tattie. I think if I were you, I would be tempted to write that list out in a nice thick Sharpe pen right on the fridge door. Its a great reminder of why we are happy. Happy 2012.
