Being a Fairy Godmother - CyberMummy ticket up for grabs….

I have decided to become a fairy godmother, because circumstances have meant that I can, for one day only and that day is June 25th 2011.
I have one CyberMummy Ticket plus expenses up to £100 on offer. The reason being is that I cannot go to CyberMummy this year as I have just found out it clashes with my eldest’s Sports Day and however much I love blogging there is one rule that stands firm: family first…
OK I do bend that rule a lot especially if the boys have wound me up and I need to get away into the sanctuary that is my office…
That aside I have decided that I will also offer travel/hotel expenses up to £100 as I know for some people it is not the spending the day in London and attending CyberMummy that is the problem but the actual getting there that is the difficulty. Travel is getting very expensive especially if you forget to book in advance!
I would like to offer the ticket to someone who would otherwise not have been able to go. So if you know of anyone who is in that position or even if it is you yourself please leave a comment with the address of your blog and I will start getting  names drawn up and I will let my boys decide who they would like to see go to the ball - so to speak!
I ask nothing in return but that the person who gets the ticket has a wonderful time and tells me all about it so that even though I won’t be there I can at least keep up with all the gossip, news and views…

Wow what an incredibly generous thing to do. I was desperate to go to Cybermummy and managed to buy a ticket from someone else, but this is lovely! xx

Mrs E - Thank you. I am very lucky that I can afford to go and I just thought there are some great bloggers out trhere who are not as fortunate but who would love to have a chance to go: call it my one good deed for the year!

Mrs E - Thanks again but I promise I'm not a v.nice lady - leastways my husband doesn't think so at present as I am blogging when I should be doing his supper!!!!

Hello!! I am just checking with my husband but I would love to go to CyberMummy. I am happy to pay for the ticket though, so if you would rather give it to someone more deserving thats fine :-))

I was just thinking about it, and you should give the ticket to someone who can't afford to go. I couldn't take it off you and not pay, knowing I can buy my own. Hopefully another will come up for me. However if you don't find any takers, then maybe we can give some money to charity or something?

Agree with Mrs E that you seem like a lovely lovely lady!

wow, what a lovely thing to do, I've just seen tweets between Mrs E & Mummy Mummy Mum and thought I would stop by & tell you how nice I think you are (stuff the supper!!). I don't need a ticket as I will be camping in a field somewhere in Glastonbury but think that Mummy Mummy Mum would be a very deserving recipient!

Mummmy Mummy mum - if no one else is up for it then it is yours! I'll leave it open till Sunday, if you are happy to wait until then!

Wow, what a very generous thing to do Tattie!

My very good friend Savorie at www.savoriegirl.com would, I feel, be a very good recipient. She is currently in the UK as a student so, I am guessing, won't have a great deal of cash. I am also sure that she would love the experience.

Perhaps, I should have asked before I proposed her?

Spencer Park - better ask her then! If there are a lot of bloggers who want to go then the boys will choose for me as I am a wimp at these sort of things. But the person going will know on Sunday!

I've sent you a reply e-mail about the person I'm suggesting, but I just wanted to say that I agree with everyone else Tattie - you're so generous in offering this.

Hi there

Your offer is a fantastic one and also a very generous one.
I hate doing this kind of thing but I will be honest and say that I myself would love the chance to go to the ball. Sadly I'm broke what with the three children and having to become a carer instead of going to work:(
I would very much love to be considered for your dream offer please. His my blog URL so you can read all about my life a mummy of three (one with AS) The blog is called A boy with Aspergers and my URL is http://aspergersinfo.wordpress.com Thank you.

What an amazing offer Tattie! So sorry you're not going to be there, it was lovely to meet you last you, but I have to say that you are making the cancellation in style! Will tweet your post to pass the offer on...

This is indeed a fairy godmother thing to do! Good luck deciding...! And I am sad to see I won't be meeting you at Cybermummy.

It is my daughter's sports day as well, but she is very unenthusiastic about the day (even before we knew about the date clash) and I go out of my way to put family first on other events so I feel ok about missing it this time, leaving husband and her sibs to cheer her on. Also, she rows in Cambridge at weekends with me on the side of the Cam watching so I know she already feels her sporting efforts are supported by me. Now I sound like I'm getting worried and defensive...! Maybe I am... ;)

I'm sure your son will be very pleased to have you supporting him!

Wow, you are generous!!!

May sugges the wonderful Aly from plus2point4, (@plus2point4)? She is kind, helpful, never has a bad word to say about anyone and a single mum.

No idea if she has managed to get a ticket or not, but she is a real gem of a lady and would deserve to go!

What a really lovely thing to do! I'm sorry you won't be able to go but I'm sure someone will be very grateful for such a wonderful opportunity to attend x

This is so generous! I couldn't afford to go this year, since like you my family comes first. It was either CyberMummy or my son's first birthday in April spent in Holland with family. We chose family.

I think you are so lovely to do such a nice thing....very generous! Good luck deciding and hope the lucky winner has tons of fun!
