I have come up with a myriad of excuses today thousands, trust me thousands of excuses not to be doing what I should be...
It's too sunny.
There's no milk, I must just pop out and get some...
The chicken water feeders need a good scrub down.
The dog's collar could so with a good clean.

Oh those poor builders need a drink working so hard in this heat.
Better scoop the poop in the garden.
I must pop these keys in the barn for J.

The washing needs doing.
I must ring up that chap about planking the logs.
The bins need putting out for tomorrow.

I need to build a volcano...OK My children want me to build a volcano...
Ooohhh my nails are lovely and long perhaps I could paint them.
Good heavens is it really nearly lunch time? Alfresco I think!
What things do you find to do when really you should be doing something else?
Oh what is it I should be doing...ah yes sroting everything out ....well there is this afternoon!
Now I really think I ought to paint the Boy's Army Hut.....

Blogging! I'm sitting here with a three foot pile of socks to match. My mother is coming on Sunday and the guest room looks like a bomb site. The back garden needs a lot of work; the front needs to be swept. I have no idea what we're having for dinner tonight. But I really can't be bothered to do all that at the moment.
I just get stuck at the laptop, you seem to get loads done!
My list of to-do things today...
- lie on the beach reading my new David Nicholls book
- turn over
- repeat
Well, it will be when I get off the bloody computer and get my arse outside! Very funny list. You have procrastination down to a fine art. Sounds just like me on a typical day - although my boys aren't lucky enough to have an army hut, so I can scrub that particular chore off the list.
It's really the only time the kitchen floor gets a good mop - when I should be doing something else.
I ought to be painting and cleaning and ...... but like Lou I would so much rather read my friends' blog posts too!
very bored in catalunya - soneone got to love me because when I get round to the toy cupboard I can guess that I won't be loved quite as much....

Mollygolver - oooh done the painting bit ran out of paint so started on wall pappering even though I don't think the boys really appreciate it in their army hut but heck I needed to learn!
