Taking a break...

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has dropped by and visited me over the years and left wonderful heartfelt comments. Without you this would have never latest as long nor would I as a matter of fact. You've helped me through thick and thin and made me laugh, cry, feel loved and wanted and just been there. It means a lot. More than I could ever really say.
I have been blogging now for five years and I am going to take a break for three weeks. I may blog during those three weeks I do not know.
The reason for the break is that I am actually going on holiday, a proper one for the first time in ten years with my family to South Africa and I am SO looking forward to it!
The dogs are a bit pissed at me but J will be on duty looking after them, the chickens and of course my bonkers house with all its quirks foibles and things that go bump in the night.
We all need a breather..
Have a wonderful Easter!!!!!

Even Bear was a little tentative about where this was going. But, like Lady Suburbia, I was cheered by the ending.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your holiday. Bear, and others, will eagerly await your travelogue when you return (or while you're holidaying). Not that we're laying heavy expectations on you, or anything. ;)

Blessings and Bear hugs.

Hi, Tattie. I'm always thinking of taking a blog break these days - I've also been blogging 5 years and I think the time comes when we run out of things to write about.

Have a wonderful break and come back refreshed.

You know...i once had a brother called Gerry.
But my other brother gave him a nick name .
Know what he called him?
I think it was because of " Leave it to Beaver"...and Gerry was always very fast on skates even if he was very small.
Yeah,that was his name.
And now isn't it " funny" that it's such a common name everywhere you look on blogs?
And know what another " funny" thing is ?
I see a lot of " Moose" , too.
And my brother used to call me " Moose".
Know what I think?
He was jealous of both of us because Gerry and I had some sort of gifts, real gifts.
But my older brother?
Pretty mundane but then look what he invented for
" kid fucks"?
And so , Rick the Prick became the " star" for
This is Orgico- Rick's Setain- Rporket- Rgyco- Rgyca?
And RRAPOP was born?
SORAPPE was born?
LAPRAPPE was born?
" Pop Goes the Weasel"?
This is a story of sheer sibling rivalry and the destruction of not only his original family, but the destruction of his very own and his terrific children.
Rick the Prick.
Rick the Prick.
Rick the Prick.
Well, they say he now even has a part in a movie.
You say he's an " inspiration"?
