Working from Home (A Little Ditty for National Poetry Day)

Procrastination

Is something I enjoy

I really shouldn't admit it

But when I start to settle down

To do my daily work

There are so many other things

That suddenly spring to mind

That I know that I could do

In a jiffy and a trice

But then again

I remind myself

I don't get paid for those.....

Have you got a ditty for National Poetry Day?

I really like your poem Tattie, I much preferred reading it to working! x

Thank you Liz. Strangely I enjoy reading other blogs too - so naughty esp when I should be working! I liken it to nipping into the staff canteen/kitchen to make a quick cup of coffee and having a natter with some mates before returning to my desk!

My Uncle (a poet in fact) used to say that "Procrastination is the thief of time." Hmmm.

I wrote a ditty yesterday on my brand new blog and would love you to read it!

It was done without even realising that today is National Poetry Day. I was obviously oozing dittyness of my own accord...

Mummy in Training - procrastination has a lot to answer for including my littlest!?! Well it seemed like a good way to not work and my husband was having day off...;)

The whole problem with procrastination, sometimes it really does pay off.
